Essays
Just published an essay on Medium – “How I Lost My Colon, But Regained My Life” – this is adapted from my recently completed memoir.
Fiction
New writing forthcoming – my short-short “8:30” – in the next online issue of Crack The Spine.
Podcast
Just read my short story, “Bumps,” and was interviewed for The Other Stories Podcast. Great experience! Kudos to Ilana and her staff. I always like it when I learn something about my writing that I hadn’t realized before. My episode should be live in a couple weeks – I’ll be sure to post the link.
Plays
If anyone is in my old home state of North Carolina this weekend, head to The Storefront Theatre in Waxhaw for We Like Short Shorts: A Festival of 10 Minute Plays. My play, “When I Get To Heaven,” about two old curmudgeons trying to find some meaning in a home improvement project gone awry, will be featured along with a full slate of what I am sure are some outstanding plays.
Fiction
I wrote a short-short – “8:30” – walking into work on a dreary Monday morning a few months ago that will appear in the upcoming online issue of Crack the Spine – I’ll post the link as soon as it goes live.
Plays
My play, “When I Get To Heaven,” received honorable mention in We Love Short Shorts: A Festival of 10-Minute Plays sponsored by The Storefront Theatre in Waxhaw, North Carolina, and will be presented there as a staged reading in March. Happy New Year!
Fiction
My short story, “All Those Devils,” has been selected to appear in Dime Store Review‘s print edition, Volume 2, Issue 3, 2017, soon to be available on Amazon.
Fiction
The latest print anthology from Crack the Spine, Anthology XVI, which features my short short, “Good Advice,” along with a lot of great fiction and poetry, is out now and available on Amazon.
Plays
The Durango Art Center’s 7th Annual 10-Minute Play Festival, featuring my play, “Good Things,” is this weekend – October 13-15.
