My play, “When I Get To Heaven,” received honorable mention in We Love Short Shorts: A Festival of 10-Minute Plays sponsored by The Storefront Theatre in Waxhaw, North Carolina, and will be presented there as a staged reading in March. Happy New Year!

The Durango Art Center’s 7th Annual 10-Minute Play Festival, featuring my play, “Good Things,” is this weekend – October 13-15.

Here and here are links to a couple of good articles on the Ten-Tucky Festival, entering its final weekend this weekend at the Bard’s Town Theatre. LEO Weekly provides a nice overview of all the plays, noting that “though each piece is laugh-out-loud funny, each piece is also thoughtful and witty.” And Insider Louisville has this to say about my play: Peter Stavros’ entry, “Squirrels in a Knothole,” was the evening’s clear winner. It has solid direction from Nick Hulstine, decent comedic chops from the actors, and a script that works on several different levels. It examined toxic masculinity in a corporate environment and frenemies, all with a touch of nihilism and a subtle hint toward the realities of living in a violent world. And it’s all accomplished in between pretty solid squirrel jokes.
