Review

Happy Friday! I’m excited to share a 5-STAR review from Big Al’s Books and Pals!

“I’ve always been a fan of legal thrillers, think John Grisham and the like. This one was a good read and appealed for many of the same reasons. But this is also not like a typical legal thriller in many ways. In some ways you could almost view it as a coming-of-age story for an attorney who thinks he knows what he wants when he decides to become a lawyer, which is a career in what he calls “BigLaw.” To be fair, that’s not really what he wants, but it is what he decides is something he can do that will give him what he’s looking for from life, so he goes for it. How that works out is a little up and down with some positives and some things that, if you’re paying attention, might be concerning. How it all works out is an adventure I enjoyed experiencing vicariously.”
