Hello there, and Happy Monday! I hope your week is off to a good start. I want to share some exciting news – I have a short story, “Just Like St. Peter,” out today in the premiere edition of a new online lit mag, Blydyn Square Review. The format of this magazine is a little different, in that it requires a subscription fee of $25 but it provides you with lifetime access, and if this first issue is any indication, there’s some good writing in there (and I’m not just talking about myself!). Anyway, if you’re so inclined, mention me in the notes when you subscribe, and, if not, no big deal – this is another one of my “Sadie Stories” that I hope to publish in one collection someday!
My short story “Six-Forty-Five” is live now in the current edition of Spank the Carp. This is part of a chapbook I’ve just completed that consists of a series of vignettes written in the second-person point of view to place the reader in the character’s shoes as he struggles to escape the mistakes of his past – heavy stuff, I know, but I tried to give each piece a sort of up-tempo flow so it doesn’t get too bogged down.
Just upgraded my site to remove those pesky ads – also changed the domain to http://www.peterjstavros.com, but the old WordPress domain will still get you there too. Ah technology.
My short story – “3:45” – is now available for FREE at Fixional.
Thrilled to be included in this wonderful new website – At One Sitting – which features interviews with contemporary short story authors.
