New fiction alert! My short story “Tattoo” has been selected for this fall’s issue of Hamilton Stone Review. I’ll post a link when it goes live.

Fiction
My short story “Six-Forty-Five” is live now in the current edition of Spank the Carp. This is part of a chapbook I’ve just completed that consists of a series of vignettes written in the second-person point of view to place the reader in the character’s shoes as he struggles to escape the mistakes of his past – heavy stuff, I know, but I tried to give each piece a sort of up-tempo flow so it doesn’t get too bogged down.
Plays
The voting is in and my play “Resisting” won first place at this year’s 8×10 TheatreFest at the Weathervane Playhouse – thanks to everyone there who showed us such great hospitality!
Plays
It’s double show time this weekend, with my play “Squirrels in a Knothole” part of the Out on a Limb festival at the Scripps Ranch Theatre in San Diego, and my newest play “Resisting” part of the 8×10 TheatreFest at the Weathervane Playhouse in Akron – break a leg everyone!
Fiction
The holiday weekend might be winding down, but you can still celebrate the Fourth of July with “The Time the Power Went Out in Birchwood Village” live now at The Saturday Evening Post – this is another in my collection, (Mostly) True Stories from Birchwood Village.
Fiction
New Fiction Alert! “Ghost” – another of The Sadie Stories – is live now at Flash Fiction Magazine.
Fiction
Just a quick new fiction alert – my flash “Ghosts” will go live at Flash Fiction Magazine on June 30. As always, I’ll post the link here. Happy Friday!
Fiction
My newest piece of flash – “Dead Rock Stars” – another of The Sadie Stories, is live now at daCunha – it’s behind a paywall, but this is a pretty cool website with a lot of good stories and I believe you can get a free trial membership to start.
Plays
Excited to announce that I’ll be debuting my new play “Resisting” at the Weathervane Playhouse in Akron, OH this summer as part of the 8×10 TheatreFest. There are no squirrels in this one either, but there is a butter knife and a police helicopter (the latter offstage!)
Fiction
My short story, “The Pit” – part of which is based upon my experiences at a lot of rock shows (although, knock on wood, I’ve yet to take an elbow to the face) – is live now in the April 2019 Issue of Thrice Fiction.
